The following are committees that volunteers staff as part of keeping the church standing strong and sustainable well into the future. Each committee is always in need of new passionate volunteers eager to enrich the ministry with their gifts.
Finance Committee
The Finance Committee sets the annual church budget and reviews the financials on a monthly basis to guide the financial health of the church.
Buildings & Grounds Committee
The Buildings & Grounds Committee completes projects around the church grounds, such as clean-up workdays and small repairs.
Legacy Committee
The Legacy Committee reviews requests and distributes funds from the Endowment for outreach projects for the church community.
Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee helps coordinate our various outreach programs, enriching the community. Learn more about our outreach→
Lectors
Lectors read the lessons and lead the Psalms and Prayers of the People during each church service.
Chalice Bearers
Chalice Bearers assist the priest during communion by serving the wine to the congregation.
Altar Guild
The Altar Guild prepares the nave and altar for worship services each week.
Choir
The Choir leads the congregation through each week’s hymns as well as performs offertory music during the services.
Acolytes
Acolytes begin and end each service by bring the crucifix into the nave and assisting with setting up the altar for the Eucharist.
Stephen Ministry
Stephen Minsters are members of the congregation who can walk with those in need as guides and listeners.
Lay Eucharistic Visitors
Lay Eucharistic Visitors visit members of the congregation who cannot attend services in person to offer prayers and communion, as we our one body who shares one cup.
